Manage Business

Manage Business can be accessed by going to the Dashboard, and then selecting Manage Business.

If you plan to sell or purchase anything through the Chamber, that is what the business side of your Chamber account is for.

This section is the same for both businesses and chambers, allowing you to manage your Chamber as a vendor on the platform.

Business Profile

General

  • Business name is required. 
  • Website: will be showing the link to access your platform's home page. 
  • Overview: Introduction of your chamber.
  • Invoice and Tax Information: Please at least enter First/Nest Invoice Number / Tax 1 Name / Tax 1 Rate
  • Contact Information
    • Contact Type: Directory Information / Billing Information / Shipping Information (Information will appear in the directory unless otherwise specified)
    • Required fields: Phone Number / Phone Type / Email Address / Street / City / Province State / Country / Postal Code
    • Social Media if applicable.

Finally, SAVE it.

Any applicable value-add subscription will show here.

My Invoices / Purchases

  • Purchases made by organizations or individuals will be shown in an exportable list. 
  • Invoices can be searched and viewed.

Products & Services

  • List All Products: All products, including event tickets, event sponsorship, event add-on etc.
    • EDIT button is available for product detail modification.
      • Regular price is a required field.
      • Please double check if the product is required to charge GST.
      • The product has to be set as "Enable Product" at the product status so as to be visible. 
  • Add A Product
    • Product Name: required field.
  • Import Products
    • A spreadsheet template is available for download, please follow the instruction on the page so as to modify products on the spreadsheet and have it uploaded to the platform. 
  • Import Shopify
  • Payment Processing
    • Your Chamber Merchant account should be configured by the time you have access to the platform. 
  • Direct Deposit Info
    • Account Holder / Account Type / Transit Number / Account Number are all required fields. 
  • Eye4Fraud
    • Please contact your local chamber to create an account for the Eye4Fraud.

If your chamber wants to make purchases through the platform, they will show up under the My Purchases tab. 

Payment Processing 

If you plan to sell chamber memberships through the platform, you will need to setup a payment processing account for that. And if you plan to sell event tickets, or any other products through the platform, you will need a second payment processing account application. 

These accounts will be found in the Payment Processing tab. Currently only the second application for Chamber Market/Events is available to all chambers, and the membership application is available to chambers that are beta testing the platform. 

Direct Deposit Info 

When a buyer makes a purchase on Chamber Market, the Chamber gets a 1.15% cut of the transaction. To ensure that your chamber is paid, make sure to setup your direct deposit information by going to Dashboard > Manage Business > Direct Deposit Info.

Marketing Materials, Blog and Contact History are all potential upcoming features and can be safely ignored
